Summary:

We grow, and we need an 3D Print Technician in Fort Myers!

You as our new 3D Print Technician will be conducting 3D printing jobs, analyzing the results, and improving the production process. You will manage supply inventory levels, stock levels and ensure that each project completed quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility in a team of colleagues for 3D printing maintenance, setup and operation.
  • Machine set-up and calibration
  • Setting up 3D print jobs
  • Analyzing the results of the printed files and improving the production process
  • Responsible for daily cleaning, equipment maintenance and safety compliance
  • Ensuring production is completed per procedure to meet applicable quality standards
  • Post-processing including but not limited to machining, cleaning, removal from machine, sanding and spray painting with Air Brush the 3D printed parts
  • Monitoring internal and external orders and producing finished products
  • Final inspection of finished parts
  • Managing production and supply inventory levels, and Stock Levels of ready to sell parts
  • Working with the organization to support experimental and new product development
  • Works closely with other creative design team members to identify needs, gaps and strategies to assist with the creation of the prototypes and support of experimental and new product development

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning and creative problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Hands-on experience with Fused Filament Fabrication (aka Fused Deposition Modeling) and/or Resin Based 3D Printers and printing techniques
  • Ability to become or better be proficient with printing on 3D printers and preparing sliced files
  • You are interested to get quick enough experience as a 3D print technician, if you have been not in touch with 3D yet
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Appreciation for building and working with materials hands-on, especially with small, delicate part
  • Interested in learning more about new manufacturing technologies and improving existing processes
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Flexible timing and able to work independently, we will have some halfday shifts at evenings and weekends, but you will have usually a 40 hour 5 day week
  • Thrives in a fast pace and adaptable environment

Qualifications

Experience: if everything else fits in our profile, but you have no 3D Printing Experience (not many people have it now), feel free to send us your Application and your resume. But we will prefer job seekers wit 1+ years (min), 2+ years (desired) 3D experience

  • Associate in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
  • > 1-year experience working in machine shop, additive manufacturing facility, or similar job-shop environment
  • Experienced to work with Computers

Job Type: Full-time, 40hrs weekly

Pay: $13.00 – $20.00 per hour, depends from experience

Education: Formal training with manufacturing production components on 3D printers or applicable

Travel: We build up a new European subsidiary to help there to setup our US procedures through Knowhow-Transfer. So it is possible to be one of the technicians they can train the employees there.
